Abstract

The objective of this paper is to investigate the development of mechanical engineering in ancient Egypt through the production of human stone statues during the Third Intermediate and Late Periods. This study covers the design and production of stone statues from the 21st to the 31st Dynasties showing the type and characteristics of each statue. The decoration, inscriptions and beauty aspects of each statue were highlighted.
